| Abstract | The session explored how we can add value to the international summer school experience by intentionally introducing culturally different teaching approaches into learning outcomes. Using co-teaching, faculty engagement and strong partnership coordination, these short-term learning-abroad activities can go beyond reflecting on what is culturally ‘different’ or ‘interesting’ to foster a deeper understanding of how learning and culture are connected. |
